do you guys realize we got outshot 35-16..let's not put it all on Bob..

Dear Bob's Mom,

We have $5.5 mil on Bob. You could see the air progressively go out of the team with each 2nd period goal.

What ever happened to pulling the starting goalie to give your team a psychological restart??

Start Curtis for the same reason.

I would say that this was decent criticism if there was truth to it.

All I wanted to say, coming in, is after listening to Ricards(son) post game; now I know why he didn't bench Bob. I don't agree with him at all; but then again I am souring to him quickly. His post game seemed almost "Whatever it was Vancouver".

That had to be the worst penalty shot call I've ever seen. It worked out because he didn't score but, come on.

I said I had zero expectations for the game going in, so that was easier on my blood pressure than getting worked up about the second period meltdown.

The two losses have been stinkers, but I said I'd be happy with going .500 on this 5 game road trip. The group can exceed that goal on Monday. It's a bonus if the two games on the trip where we didn't give the opponents any points were the Eastern teams (Ottawa, Toronto).

Unfortunately those 2 aren't real contenders for "our spot in the playoffs". Maybe Toronto but I don't think so.

Edit: Just checked standings - Toronto looks like it is a contender. 2 good goalies.

Bob is bad.

Curtis needs to get a chance to play a few in a row

Flyers fan here and I come in peace. Bob will be fine for you. Will he have the year he had last season? Do not think so. My issue with him was he seemed to let in a "bad" goal all the time and that just seemed to deflate the team. (Note, Bryz did it to). The young man works hard for sure and he will be a solid tender for you. Good Luck and Happy Holidays.

We get Calvert and Jenner back, and we're still missing 3 of our top 6. Not sure how I feel about tonight. Bob's gonna have to put on a helluva show. And hopefully Joey can put the Sedins in their place
Not to toot my own horn but I called it. Bob would have had to make 40 saves for us to win. We just can't contain these higher caliber teams being without so many top players

The trend continues..

For ****s sake there needs to be some kind of wake up call. Whether it's benching someone or trading someone. The team needs to realize that just because it's still "early", they're ****ing themselves over for the rest of the season. Bobs is not going to win games for us like he did last year, the offense is a lost cause and what was touted to be our biggest strength, our defense, has been a disappointment thus far.

6-2 against ANY team is unacceptable especially when for a good 50 minutes a team got dominated and for the other 10, they still had a mediocre effort. What's even worse is just two games ago it was a 7-0 loss and the game after was a 2-1 overtime win against a bottom feeder Flames team.

Giving up 7 and 6 goals in two of the last three games is a real concern to me.

Poor punkoholic, she had to pay for that mess and watch it in the midst of Nucks fans! As a veteran Cleveland Indians fan, I've learned how to sense when the end is near and bail out. Last night, it was the first goal of the second period. I might have stuck if it wasn't a West Coast game, but I saw nothing good coming from my continued viewing. Back at it on Monday.

Bob has been fine. To expect him to steal a game like last night when the team is being outplayed by a gigantic margin is asking too much.

In much of the past games, he's deserved a better fate.

Beg to differ - he is nearing sub-900 save pct and a plus 3 gaa. That is not fine.

It is a product of the crap team being iced in front of him. The lineup the Jackets are icing is not NHL caliber and it is a shame that management is content to just wait out the injuries instead of trying to right the ship before it sinks.

I agree with you except for I think they are doing the right thing for the longevity of the franchise. Waiting things out to see how Horton really effects the dynamics of how this team works. And who can play with who. I think making the wrong move now could really hurt the franchise. They (JD and JK) knew it wasn't going to turn around in a season. Every team has growing pains. You just have to learn from them and move forward. Last season we learned how crucial having defensive depth was. This season we're learning how critical it is to have skilled offensive depth.

I think you have to wait until at least Horton gets in a few games and tries to find his groove...maybe we'll get lucky and him and Johansen get some ice time together..

Yeah but I'm worried that they're doing major damage to the season ticket holder base which saw a solid bump after last season. It may well fall below where it was in 2012. They may have to sacrifice some of the future just to maintain relevance.

The lesson you are learning isn't the one I'm learning.

And toward the end of last season, Bob would make an outrageous save and the team would get a boost from it. But I agree, Bob will end up being fine. The young team in front of him needs to learn to play on a more even keel.

I get the young team thing- sort of. With Umbie, Foligno, JJ, Wiz, Tyutin, Dubi, Gaborik, Mackenzie & Boll it's not like this team is devoid of veterans, albeit for the most part "young" ones.

The whole team needs to (re-)learn how to play the way they were at the end of last year, Bob included.
