Hofer still has a colossal amount of potential with his size and puck handling, he’ll get it going and get into a groove at some point.

Man Bolduc has finally started to come to life here nice to see.
I think Hofer looks great this game. One goal was a weird bounce and the other was just great pressure and a misplay. He looks cat quick for a big guy cuz he's maintaining a low center of gravity. This is the best I've seen of Hofer.

Makes no sense at all, but somehow after watching the first half of this game it seems like the only logical explanation.
They were probably told to look first for the open man. They ended up passing it around until one of them would fumble the puck and an opponent would jump on it, steal the puck and start the rush the other way. That's why The Blues not only suffered from 1 and done O-Zone visits, but even more from 0 and done trips. No wonder it was so difficult for them to score goals. High-scoring teams have an edge because they score a lot of goals off the rush with a man advantage , before the opponents' defenders catch up and can set up.
