I'm a huge Kyrou fan. Love him. I also know that he has much more to give. I appreciate him and his ability and willingness to grow his game. He has another offensive level that we've yet to see, but it's there. I hope he can tap into it and show off his high-end skills.

I trust Kyrou and I think he knows what he's doing.

No one mentioned Schenn's excellent steal and pass that led to Kyrou's goal. The captain deserves a lot of credit on that one but I guess he ain't gonna get it here.

A good-looking 1st Period for Montgomery's first official game period. Our offence looks much more organised. Better O-Zone entries, more shots at the net, instead of looking for the pass to find an open teammate, more going to the middle of the ice, rather than working the puck around the perimeter, better play in The Neutral Zone. Better puck possession, overall. Hofer has looked good tonight. Nice goal by Kyrou on Schenn's quick pass. The Blues looked more energetic on the forecheck, too. They must have been trying to impress their new coach. I think they'll be winning some games in the near future. We're still getting killed on faceoffs. Maybe Monty can bring in a faceoff specialist coach to work with our centres and faceoff-taking wingers? It's a matter of technique and timing, and practising it, along with strength and leverage. But learning proper technique is crucial.
