Now don't lose momentum. Come out just as hard in the second.
Yeah, if they let up at all, Tampa can get right back in. Lot of time left in this game. But so far this is a fantastic bounce back from that egg they laid on Sunday.

Was I imagining things, or was that Backes out there with Bergeron and Marchand for one of the most dominating shifts?

I can't recall a young Bruins defenseman playing this well....ever.

(Note: I'm 29, so I wasn't around for Bourque's younger years, Orr, etc.).

Injured guys coming back and playing well, Mac continues to impress as does Heinen. Me thinks Kucherov better rethink his list of Matthews the hardest guy to play against

That could have gone better.

Last game, the Bruins played a terrible second period and it sunk them.

They need to maintain their intensity in tonight's second period.

Marchand is good. He and Pastrnak are on another level in terms of creativity. Fun to watch.

Credit to Nash. He's been really solid at both ends for 4 periods now. Doubt it will last, but encouraging to see.

Bergy and Marchand are never the same players apart from each other. Look at the jump and chemistry in both of them when together. Most times it does not matter who the other guy is, like Kurri and Gretzky.

It was him.

Well, that was refreshing and unexpected. Never mind the score, but out shooting the Bolts 19-8. Here’ s hoping they keep this going for another 40. So good to see Brad and Backes in action.
