I would agree, but I think this board is overrating the ever living hell out of the kid.

I think that's because there's precious little else in the pool to get excited about. So any glimmer of hope is treated like solid gold.

I'm hopeful for Potts. But my expectations aren't massive. If he becomes a steady middle 6 center I'll take it. More than that feels unlikely. Still quite possible he doesn't make it stick at all with his size and lack of zip.

He is a good player. Was alot better throwing big hits b4 shoulder injury
Yea, noticed the physical part of his game is almost gone.
Seems to handcuff team mates a lot waiting too long to make the pass.
Like I said. He's best when he not trying to do more than his skill set allows. Less is more with Charlie

They are better with Sacco, now this is on Sweeney, not much goal scoring talent....

Exactly. And I'm okay with this. You have Morgan Geekie and Pavel Zacha on your first line with David Pastrnak.... A couple of cast offs. Should draw more attention to the lack of development and poor roster construction. One would hope.

The way they are playing now is more in line with the quality of roster they have. From an entertainment perspective, it's not the worst.
