They are still right there. Again structure was much better. Still they look a bit unsure in generating offense. Canucks aren’t doing much, Bs need to just get out of their own heads

Well they're trying. The defense is solid. Just can't score obviously, and don't really look like they know how.

Monty was desperate to generate goals, and was willing to sacrifice D to get them. Sacco is more patient. It's glum but it's keeping the Bs competitive. The players are making an effort. Can only hope they stay on it and get a little luck in the 3rd.

Overall they are playing much better. Damn shame they dont have guys that can score.
Next up will be a trade methinks.
Questions would be; who's out there that can help and how do the Bruins afford it?

If Kreider's name is seriously on the market i would be very interested in that. Perfect fit for this group since he can go to the net and score. Underrated playoff performer too.

Frederic is a waste of cap space and a uniform.
He needs to be benched for a week and see if he responds or trade him to a team like NYR coveting size.

It seems that first Florida game neutered him. Whether the NHL spoke with him, Bruins management, or he simply is what some of us always thought....

I don’t recall ever seeing a whole team as snake bitten as this group. I still think there’s too much talent here for them to look like this, but I have no idea what it’s going to take to get it going.
They're not snake bitten......This is who they are.

Granlund? He would allow them to slot someone down to the bottom six. Probably would cost too much though.

Again, gotta think about it in terms of baby steps. The Bruins are playing great defense. I agree it's boring and it sucks to not see goals but they were shorthanded for 4 minutes straight and only allowed 6 shots in that period. That's a big step from where they were under Monty.

And it's not like we're not getting chances...
Pasta had a breakaway that period. Then we had 3 whacks at an empty net.
Zacha had a 3on1 shot from the slot.
Brazeau with that great backhand sweep to the net.
Sigh.
