I just restarted a diet/attempt to exercise period like two days ago while also being lazy... It's rough.
I was a weirdo who actually lost like 30 pounds during Covid because I live away from the city and suburbs and could go out and walk with regularity or even just walk on the treadmill in the mornings. Then late last year I got sick for like 3 weeks and it disrupted my habits and since then I've given almost all of that back. Plus I hurt my heel late in the summer and now I'm stuck in an annoying circle where I need to rest it so that it'll heal but that means I'm not doing anything.
I need to get back into the habit though. I felt really good about where I was and now it sucks realizing I'm almost back at square one.
My only saving grace is that I'm tall enough and have a big enough frame that I don't carry the weight horribly. Other than being a bit full in the face and having a gut I don't look
that bad.
