What a strawman. His .880 on the season is not what the fans are complaining about.

He's been good tonight. Love that for him and the team. Wish this was his baseline. Sadly every stat in the known universe shows that this is not the norm for him. Not even close.
Of course it’s a straw man. But it feels like unless he gets a shutout the knives will always be out for him. If he sucks then call him out, but when he’s good then it we should say so too. He let on a bad goal but he’s also made some good saves and has been better than Quick.

he started slow last year and recovered just fine
he usually ends up playing as a 2.6 million dollar goalie

That's fair. GDT should be about the current game. And he's been good tonight. I concur with you.

Lots of muffins by Rangers. Shhhkinna getting dat save % up tonight
Not really, you guys need to give Skinner credit when it's due, this is ridiculous already. Skinner made a lot of tough saves in the 2nd, call him out when he's shit that's fine but you should also credit him when he plays well.

And, he gets scored on as I post this lol but point stands. That was a Nurse special though, oof

I get it now. Nurses plan to make up for his contract is to keep our goalies contracts low. Didn’t know he had that 4D chess in him.

It was a tough giveaway, I really didn't like the first goal, but Skinner has no chance there
Turnover was terrible. But Skinner also lost his net and again shrinks up on any shot from distance. He could've saved that if he was properly challenging the shot and not giving an extra 2ft of the right side of the net free
