I mean broadcasters should tell it how it is. This isn’t f***ing Disney. I don’t need rainbows shoved up my ass when we all know it’s bullshit
They never do. They are employed by the team or through contract with the team there is over site of how that kind of stuff is handled.

Dear Rangers Fans,

I hope this letter finds you well and as passionate as ever about our beloved New York Rangers. As the General Manager of this historic franchise, I want to take a moment to address you directly regarding the current state of our team and the direction we must take moving forward.

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support. The dedication and loyalty of Rangers fans are unmatched, and it is that commitment that drives us to strive for greatness every day. You deserve a team that competes at the highest level and embodies the spirit of New York.

After extensive discussions with our ownership group and careful evaluation of our team’s performance, we have come to the difficult realization that we must make significant changes in order to build a brighter future for the Rangers. This decision has not been made lightly, but we believe it is necessary for the long-term success of our franchise.

As part of this process, we will be exploring trades involving some of our high-profile players. We understand how much these athletes mean to our organization and our fans, and we appreciate the contributions they have made. However, we believe that a strategic rebuild will allow us to acquire valuable assets, develop young talent, and ultimately create a more competitive team.

This process will take time and patience, but we are committed to making the right decisions for the future of the Rangers. Our goal is to cultivate a roster that not only competes for championships but also reflects the heart and tenacity of New York City.

We are determined to create a team that you can be proud of, one that honors the legacy of the Rangers and strives for excellence on and off the ice. As we embark on this new chapter, we ask for your continued support and understanding. We know that the journey may be challenging, but we believe it will lead us to brighter days ahead.

Thank you for being an integral part of our community. We are excited about the future and look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Sincerely,

Chris Drury

No emotion. Can't even string together simple passes. If I'm king for a day I start by pulling all letters. They can either get them back by showing work and emotion or we start handing it out to the next generation. The free passes need to end.
