From practice , Quick was the first off the ice, so he starts.

As much as I like the third period heroics, I'd like to take a 2-0 lead into the third and win 4-0. This team needs to play closer to a 60 min game and improve on that over the rest of the year for the playoff run.

Penner played a good game vs Blues on the 2nd line, hopefully he can regain the playoff form we saw and that line can keep in cooking.

I think its about time Justin Williams is starting to score some goals. He had a few games with some assists but that's a logical result of playing on the 1st line.

The Kings are playing ok lately and its kinda weird to complain now but I'm not that type of person who sees everything through rose-colored glasses when things are going well. On pace for 8 goals in a 82 games season.

I'm absolutely not thrilled with his play either.

Williams has been snake bit on goal right now. His shooting percentage is 3X less than his average. I'm not sure how many posts he's hit but I know it's many. He's getting looks they just aren't going in or hitting posts. So his numbers don't scare me.
The ones that do are that both Kopi and Carter and double their normal shooting percentage. And how long can that last. We can only hope that when the two of them slow that Williams will catch up otherwise I see a very painful scoring drought.

This is going to be a fun game to watch. Sutter will have the Kings ready and I'm hoping for a 3-1 Kings win. Quick will have a solid game. My guess will be Penner, Voynov and Muzzin with the goals. The Kings will win if they can come out hard, finish their checks and get bodies in front of Lehtonen.
