Too much red in the stands. I wanted to cleanse the stands so bad.

My question is what happened to the Kings fans that usually occupy the seats that Blackhawk fans room over tonight since, ya know we have a sellout streak going on.

They sell their tickets for big profit and pay for the rest of their season seats? Tickets were not cheap nor plentiful on StubHub tonight so thI demand must be high.

I don't see Blackhawks STHs at United selling their tickets. I guess I'm just wondering why our place gets infested with Hawk fans while United Center manages to stay free from away fan invasion even though both arenas are always packed every night.

Probably more Hawks fans nationally than Kings fans. Red Wing fans, Cowboy fans, same deal. Call it bandwagon, or time/history.

That wasn't the best 3rd period from the Kings. They didn't take full advantage of all those shots in the 1st and 2nd, then the Hawks had their back to back game push in the 3rd. Just 2 shots on net in the 3rd period in a tied game at home? That's not enough.

Because hardly anyone from LA would ever think of moving to Chicago.

Few people move from LA to Chicago. Lots of people leave Chicago to come to LA. LA was founded in 67, on the belief that transplants would go to games. At my work (south OC) there are an equal number of Kings, Ducks and Hawks fans.

That was an abysmal 3rd period, but the Kings are beasts in OT. I loved Carter's approach, just get it on net and something good will happen. Still not sure why Nolan is in the lineup, hopefully AA will be back soon. Kopi also needs to get back to his old self and earn that 10 million dollars, because right now he's being outplayed by a guy making half of that.

They freaking sold their tickets probably afraid to go out in the rain lol, around me are normally season seat holders yet filled with hawk fans , a lot of them with brand new jerseys , amazing not more fights these were people laughing at every minor mistake we did on a night we actually dominated on ice , we had a thirteen to one shot total at one point yet their shot counted, it was awesome to see their faces after carts shot , almost entitlement kinda like what happened a couple of Tuesday's ago

I liked the idea of substituting Gilbert for Greene against Chicago. Play Greene vs bigger teams and Gilbert vs faster teams.

And that's exactly why the league believes a team in Vegas will work. Transplant populations will fill out the fanbase in the beginning, and the following generation will become native fans. It's the exact same thing that happened in LA.

That's cause LA is full of bandwagon fans, I don't care what anyone says about transplants...I call ******** on that.

Show me a fan infestation where it's not a top team in the league, it doesn't happen. It's the same thing it was with Detroit fans 10 years ago.

totally not true We won the game and he was still even in plus minus. The one penalty was unlucky as he was falling and his stick caught the hawk player in his face. Gilbert is a plus on the pp Jones never saw any power play time. Gilbert at least hits the net with his shot.

He was only even in plus minus cause his teammates bailed him out. I will give you that he is decent on the pp, but all other areas are below par. I'd rather see Greene in and that's saying something.

I'd be OK sitting Nolan and rolling 7 d with Gilbert only seeing pp time

I disagree i'm not saying hes a drew clone but to compare him to randy jones is ridiculous Randy jones couldn't do anything right. Gilbert makes a decent breakout pass he's very capable in the offensive zone. He is ok in his own end. Jones was worse in every possible way you can measure in a defenseman. Lets not forget he's still getting used to the system Its only 22 games in the season let him settle in

It's also a holiday week. Lot of people probably take the week off and go to San Jose, Anaheim, and LA to watch their Hawks play.

I thought he started looking good prior to the injury but now I'm wondering how much of that was Forbort. But I'm not going to judge him on one game back from injury yet, either. I like a lot of what Gilbert does.

This weekend in particular was a holiday weekend so more people are likely to sell their tickets if they have family in town.
And there is no controlling who buys your seats.

Anyone can have an off game, I wonder if DS will give him another shot anytime soon.
