I think it was @BlueMed who posted that the Blues are passing up shooting opportunities.

My first thought was that maybe the staff is coaching this.

I've said it before. But, the stupid passes aren't coming from just one player on the team. It's the entire team doing it. There's no structure, no system. Passes by everyone are wild, almost never on the mark, almost always forced into bad areas. I highly doubt every single player on this team just makes shitty decisions every time they have the puck on their stick. Coaching absolutely has something to do with it.

I would hard keep Thomas, Hofer, Broberg, Holloway and Neighbours. Keep Bolduc but send him down

I would sell Buch, Kyrou, Parayko and Binnington for the right price. If price isn't met, keep them.

Anyone else is available at very reasonable prices. No prospects will be traded in this REBUILD. Because that is what we need.

Montgomery would help that problem. I seem to remember that our special teams improved significantly under his systems. I also think his team defensive system would help. And I believe his choices of forward line positions and defensive pairings would help, ads well. Bring him on board!

I mean I feel like that is already what’s going on, everyone except for the guys you mentioned are available but nobody really wants them, might get a couple takers on Saad, Faksa, Leddy at the deadline but that’s it.

Another opportunity where Schenn could have shot it or tried a pass on pad but instead skated himself into a dead end trying to find a seam to pass it into the slot that never materialized. What happens next, he forces it and lead to rush the other way.
