I thing Suter will really get exhausted and burned out if he plays 1st pairing minutes EVERY game until Broberg returns.

I really do think the Blues transition and more specifically their zone entries have to be the worst in the league. If they aren't allowed to skate in clean they do a stretch play and all their forwards are forced to stand flat footed at the blue line to not go off sides. So it is impossible to generate an effective forecheck.

I thought he was going to be a healthy scratch most nights and then cut by the end of the season. It’s relative to expectations.

A couple nice saves by Binnington. I like the way Matthew Joseph drove and crashed the net. Thomas takes a penalty. The Blues' PK unit needs to kill it off.

Another thing I don't understand. We very clearly are not icing the most offensively adept team. So why are we so selective about shots. One thing I love about watching Carolina is they put the puck on net from everywhere and crash the net. You know why? It works. With the construction of our team our strategy should be pucks to net, bodies to the net. So why are we trying to Harlem Globetrotter pucks into the net. 10 SOG 30 mins into the game. GTFO.
