Nice Hitchcock breakout. Let the 3 forwards just stand stationary at the far blue line with no option for the D.

Look like crap again. Why the hell is Bolduc not in the lineup? Bannister is inching closer and closer to losing his job every day

I’m not there yet. But for me the strongest argument in favor of keeping Bannister is that he’s really good for young player development. If that isn’t true, let’s get this over with.

A sloppy 1st Period that got sloppier for The Blues in the last 56 minutes, and ended with them giving up a goal near the end. For a while, it looked like The 3 Stooges vs. The Marx Brothers, but The Blues took the lead in sloppiness near the end, and it cost them. Let's hope they play a lot better in the remaining 2 periods.

That’s what we were lead to believe but I have never seen any evidence of it actually being true. Maybe Kessel last year but he seems to have regressed. Neigjbours was already playing well before Berube got fired not sure it had a whole lot to do with Bannister but maybe. None of the other kids were really thriving under him when he was coaching the TBirds, maybe I’m missing something

Maybe Bannister is good for young player development on The AHL level, but not at The NHL level? Bolduc should be in the Blues' lineup tonight. Did Bannister really help the T-Birds' young players improve more than they would have with the average head coach? Move Bannister down and hire Montgomery!
