It is one thing to say he has lost a step for a variety of reasons and that he’s having to adapt but calling him cooked and washed up and saying he needs to be gone after the season is quite an overreaction. (Not saying that is what you are doing btw)
He needs to figure out how to simplify his game and fast. I never said he should be gone or anything like that btw.

Yeah it's a bit annoying looking across the border and seeing the US with the reigning Vezina winner and like 3 all-star caliber goalies behind him for depth and we got...some guy who Seattle found in the bargain bin.

Time to annex Alaska so we can claim Swayman.
At least you have like 9 different line ups that could wreck any other country. US has the edge in goal and D but forward wise, we are thin especially with the loss of Johnny Hockey.

I think his decision making as a whole has been piss poor. Can’t finish around the net and is turning the puck over constantly.

No doubt his battle and compete is still there, but I’m not rushing to extend him if this is the version we’re getting going forward.

I hope he can turn it around quickly

I've been saying this for a while but that makes me a bad person because I don't want to be every players best friend.
Seeing a player on the back 9 after his 12th season does not make him done.
I heard some Bruins fans saying Chara was done in 2014 when they lost to the Habs in round one.
Marchand at 70 percent is better a ton of wingers in this league

I’m going out on a limb here in saying that I think the plan for him was to take a step back and have Pasta and Lindholm and others carry more of the load this year.

Things went south quickly and he’s simply doing too much.
