In the first 3 games of the road trip, they've given up 9 goals to teams that have combined to average 2 goals per game.

They've got credit for 8 goals, but 1 was in the SO. So that's 7, but then 1 was a penalty shot. Of the 6 normal goals, 2 were on the PP, and 1 was SH. Of the remaining 3, Lucic got his with the goalie pulled. So they've got two 5v5 goals on the road trip so far, while giving up 5.

Mitchell hasn't been very good for Florida this season. Starting to show his age. Also if anyone on defense needs to get his pink slip from the Kings, it's Christian Ehrhoff. The guy is terrible.

He also looks like the love child of Jeff Schultz and Keaton Ellerby. Big size dmen said to be good skaters given their size, but softer than charmin and lacking in intensity.

I fear for him when he's up against a good skating team like Detroit. Larkin made him look bad a couple of times.

As for Ehrhoff, I think his brains are still scrambled from that high hit from that piece of scum, Ribeiro.

After the garbage Nolan pulled yesterday and his crappy play this season, I would hope he sits in favor of Andreoff.

Dwight King can't come back soon enough.

I know he's not the same player anymore, but man, do I miss Mitchell. So well spoken, friendly, and respectful. Like, you know for sure he's not a member of this team anymore, but you can still see the reverence and respect for past teammates and coaches in all his quotes while still obviously being the captain of Florida. Even if his abilities are diminished, his leadership role would be welcome on this team for guys like Forbort...thinking back to O'D's last year as an example.

This team looks to have many of the same problems as last year's squad. The Pacific Division sucks and that's why the Kings are in 2nd place right now.

Dean and/or the "best players" on this team have a lot of work to do if they are going to truly be contenders this season. This should be a win tonight.

Was looking for the greene thread recently, because they said the were sitting him for minor issues, and till this news from Rosen, he has just dissapeared. I thought he was already on LTIR.... At this point they could likely put him on retroactive and he could come off with out having to miss many more games...

What'd Nolan do? Regarding Forbort, he's a rookie, he's going to make mistakes. Just like Muzzin and McNabb before him. The Drew Doughtys who look polished at a young age are extremely rare.
