A lot of relief on Chucky's face there. I think he's taken the events of the last couple of days harder than anybody. Lot of heart in that young fella.

Things I liked:

Korpisalo was solid
Kastelic is a G
They played mean
The PP looked much better, much more shot heavy.

The things i didn’t like:

It got a bit hairy in the third
Marchands lack of finish

Korpisalo, Kastelic, a first for Ullmark? What a trade.

Liked Sacco ignoring player salaries and putting Wotherspoon on the second pair with Carlo. Not that Wotherspoon is an All-Star, but he makes the safe, smart play more often than not.

In a cap world, no team can ice six #1D's, and that's important depth.

The power play looked sharper, but I don't know if the B's face opposing goalies playing lights-out, or if they just can't finish.

If Sway can get it together B's would once again have a top goalie tandem. They will need it the way they are scoring

If Pasta isn't the most overpaid forward in the NHL, he's definitely in the conversation. He should be traded ASAP because his value lessens game by game.

Never thought Korpi would have two shutouts while Swayman has none...

Hard to judge from 1 game but I think I see the plan. Sacco's dumbed it down a little. Simplified. Back to basics. Maybe this is the tear down Monty's plan phase and Sacco will add more of his ideas later but right now it seemed he had them playing a little more old school. The D was dropping back sooner and not being relied upon to drive the offense. Shoot the puck in or work it up the wall and then try to play down low and around the goal. Same for the PP with a greater reliance on the bumper, much like we used to do it in the Bergeron era.

In my opinion Korpisalo is my #1 goalie until the other guy beats him out for that job. I don't care how much they paid Swayman, right now Korpisalo is better and gives them a better chance to win.

They still can't score though.
