Not bringing fresh players onto the ice when you had chances to do so is on him. They were all gassed.

Hard to bring out fresh players when they mess up the empty net goal and then straight scramble the rest of the period because nobody took the time to settle the puck and make a play.

I can’t recall if there were any whistles there.

But regardless that’s a damned if you do damned if you don’t scenario due to sloppy play from your top players.

There were in fact whistles and they cleared the zone at least once. There were chances to change the lines.

I don't know how to explain it, but on offense Schenn's legs are 30 but on defense Schenn's legs seem 38.
