That said, as the expectations rise so will they on Marty.

I don't agree with that. If no one holds eachother accountable, there is no 'learning the hard way'.

That's not how elite sports works.

Learning the hard way is very much an important part of the process for young athletes.

It's more art than science from a coaching pov, and very easy to second guess each choice a coach makes... that's why the big picture is more important to asses than the game to game ones (& again, i to question the decision not to call a TO in the 2nd...)

It starts with the top. You're supposed to not wanna lose, and much less get your ass handed to you at home.

If you think msl "wants to lose", I think that's a terrible take with zero grounding.

As far as building a winning culture... losing is a part of that, as unpleasant as it may be.
