I hate to agree with you but I think Vegas will play extra hard coming off their embarrassing loss to Leafs having been shut out. Plus, they had a day off yesterday so it’s not like this is a back to back day. I also don’t think Habs play any better with a long break. Seems to me maybe they lose that edge. I don’t know this to be definitely sure….just something I have noticed. Could be wrong…

You institute a winning culture but not accepting less than stellar results and performances. What does Montreal do? Give a 3 year extension to MSL after a losing season.

How do you unravel this situation?

They got lucky with a pretty advantageous expansion draft though.

I would dismantle our team for a chance to rebuild it through an expansion draft.

HuGo have to consider the hire of Montgomery and they better be monitoring his situation so as soon as they hear that some teams are eyeing him, they come up with a good offer. It's the best opportunity to get a bilingual coach with experience and recent results.
