Yet he's a -7 playing ~14 minutes a night on our bottom pair.

Ceci was a 20+ minute a night d-man here for 3 years and was consistently a plus player. The Oilers are giving up a full goal more per 60 minutes with Emberson on the ice compared to when Ceci was on the ice here. Ceci also provided the some semblance of offense, something Emberson hasn't shown at all here.

He hits harder. He's worse at everything else.

Ok sample size is too small, revisit in another 25 games.

We've also scored at a shit tier level worse than any season Ceci's had the benefit of playing in.

"Small sample size" lol. I'm not the one saying he's better than a guy who spent 3 years here as a top 4 d-man after 17 games. The situation through this "small sample size" has become so dire on the right side that we've needed to double shift Kulak as a top 4 right side d-man because everyone else was getting eaten alive when they were asked to play above a sheltered bottom pair role.

I have heard he is a blast to have beers with though.
I may know a guy.

Whatever food suggestions he is pumping is gonna most likely take you to flavour town .

I may talk a lot of shit about Bob, but he's a man of the people. I had a beer or two with him at Pub 1905 last March. Great guy to talk hockey with, basically an encyclopedia of past, current and future players.

RNH Hyman Skinner

The cooked line.
It's comprised of two of the most backpacked forwards in the last 5 years. Nostalgia this, nostalgia that (Nuge). I love both Hyman and Nuge, but it's the sad fact. Especially nuge, who's been a career passenger outside of his first game as an Oiler.

I think it's karma, though. We had the extreme misfortune of getting 3 first overalls in 3 of the weakest draft classes in the last 20 years but it ultimately got us McDavid. The hockey gods were making things right (both ways).

He is a better passer and is a better skater. Emberson is a very good 3rd pairing D and his AAV is reasonable for that role, Ceci not so much.

Without a doubt, the man is knowledgeable in so many topics, well spoken and is self effacing in a unique way. He knows he is a cartoonish character and embraces it. I’d smash beers with the man. It’s funny that he frequents Pub 1905. That was my haunt when I worked just down the block.

Would suck if Hyman was injured (Not like he is producing, ut still)

Would be 3 top 6 guys out (Kane/Hyman/Arvidsson)
