Thats Better!!

What a period by Booch, Mcd, and even Podkolzin. But this is why you pay Booch. What filthy offensive talent. D don't get better offensively than this. SUPERSTAR goal, and deserves to be mentioned when we most needed it to open up things right in this game. People are so hard Booch but he's just an incredible talent. Never forget that.

Incredible really, that somehow some posters here are critiquing Booch after that fantastic period. He was all over it, Goal, assist and fed Drai for an empty net that Drai missed. If your on booch after period get your glasses fixed. It doesn't get better than that.
The issue with high offensive players is they are more likely to make a defensive mistakes. With forwards they usually have d that can still cover for those mistakes. With d…the only one that can save you is your goalie so the gaffs are way more magnified.

He's also got ice in his veins. The kind of thing that you need in the playoffs.

Frustrating at times, but like, no panic in him. There's a reason his playoff numbers have been consistently absolutely f***ing nutty.

I loved how Pod nailed Brady into the crossbar.
I like the fighting skills of Nurse, Podz and Brown. Ole time hockey.
Yeah. I have time for Pods when he remembers to be physical and that was a great period by him. Loved that shot on Tkachuk, how could you not. That said he could've got a penalty for it. He's supporting well on the McDrai line and making some plays. Credit KK on this one.

I appreciate that after a couple of abysmal outings he hasn’t turtled but rather, stepped up. He’s a had a good period. Needs to keep it going though.

Missed a bunch but good thing they cashed in on pp

Is there seriously one redeeming quality Hopkins has besides being a nice guy? He plays like he wants no business having the puck

This line is why I always hated when they would put McDrai with Hyman. You aren’t really spreading the wealth at all. If you are putting McDrai together you want a guy who can play simple and physical and clear some space for the other 2.

The redeeming quality on Nuge is he has never been this bad.

Nice to see some goal production. McDavid collecting garbage with the puck finding the best player in the game. Great to see the PP deliver as well. And for McDavid to go with his shot in the slot. More unpredictability and movement needed to jolt the PP. A shot first Connor is a good look.

Yep. People are far too critical of the player. Generational offensive D. He'll be 2nd to only Coffey in Oilers scoring and if he sticks around who knows if he gets it. Coffey never had a shot this good. But man that goal was straight up sexy. Will be seen in highlights around the world. Incredible goal.

At least pull him from the PP and insert J. Skinner. That's why they signed him.

Its nice to interview Cancer patients and everything for hockey fights cancer night, but Ms Staois isn't exactly talking about why people should get checked, sharing her symptoms for knowledge and not really saying in general, Kind of wondering why they are using her for the interview

Well, the guy does nothing but produce at a high level. Some brain cramps and the brutal one in the leafs game but Booch does keep the offense going and he's an incredible player. Better still to have that kind of resilience. That goal was huge for the group. A nice feeling after the horrible feeling in Montreal. Put the team right, and resulted in subsequent goals and the team feeling it.
