The unstoppable force vs the immoveable object.

Scheduled loss vs Guilty Oilers

I'm calling a win tonight. The Oilers are a good hockey team that quite frankly just has a hard time getting emotionally invested in hockey games.
I think the no show the night before give them enough emotional investment to try harder.

I'm playing NHL 17 and oh my its such a throwback. 2016 was a really different time. Oilers developing McDavid with the likes of Mark Fayne getting overpaid and our roster being blown apart for no reason. Just simmed first year and St Louis won the damn cup with Yakupov on the team.... wtf

And go Oilers! Yall can do thisssss

I don’t wish to change the coach again, but with changes starting to happen would you make a move if a Mike Sullivan became available 🤔

Sorry but good teams don’t have a hard time getting emotionally invested.

I like to think that a bad loss last game inspires the team.

On paper though, our top players played way too many minutes last game to be good this game.

Maybe Skinner can feel the pressure and summon a great game like he occasionally does

Would be a good night for Skinner to win one for his teammates.

Just bought grossly overpriced scalper nosebleed tickets for Springsteen in Vancouver. With legalized scalping this city is brutal to get first run seats. Ticketmaster doubles down with fee on the original ticket sale and another $110 on my buy. Haven't see the Boss so selling a kidney ... slightly damaged from this past weekends Grey Cup shenanigans ... to see this well oiled music machine.
Make sure you don't get some depends diapers miss the stage and hit Yer head

😂😆

TS Eliot you are not but still a pretty good poem.

I’m a little more informal, let me try …

There once was a road team in Ottawa
Who played hockey like a poor running Yamaha
If they had played this way
Back in the glory day
They’d all be sent to Wichita
Back to back against the Sens
Somebody tell me what happens
For I cannot watch it
They still think they're hot shit
Yet only three up on the Pens

Talking about talking about playing video games is where it's at.
I prefer to watch other people talk about other people playing video games.

For the love of god Skinner... Over .900 please.

Oilers + wants me to be pumped about what Bowman has to say? His history with the hawks aside, the man talks circles with a bored voice. I shall pass!

Montreal is the 30th best defensive team in the NHL, and they shut us out. Ottawa is the 11th best, allowing 0.5 fewer goals against per game. Speaking logically, I expect the Oilers to score -0.5 goals tonight.
