Agree with this. This lineup needs a big shakeup. If Arvidsson can play I’d try something like

Henrique - McDavid - Arvidsson
Skinner - Draisaitl - Hyman
Janmark - Nugent-Hopkins - Perry
Podkolzin - Ryan - Brown

And Skinner needs to be in Nuge’s spot on the PP. Perry or Arvidsson (if healthy) can take Hyman’s spot. I’d be surprised if they switch up the PP on a back to back though because they won’t have time to practice.

Nuge isn't low enough in that lineup.

As others have indicated, the Top 6 and PP unit needs a major shakeup. Put Skinner and Henrique in the Top 6 and Podz down to the fourth line where he belongs. Run something like:

Henrique-McDavid-Hyman
RNH-Draisaitl-Skinner

Considering the struggles of RNH, Hyman, and Bouchard, replace those three on the PP with Henrique/Skinner, Perry as the net-front presence, and Ekholm on the point.

Or we can just keep trotting McDavid out with two struggling wingers and Draisaitl with garbage because maybe, if we keep doing the same thing, eventually the results will change.

My main concern is the second line won’t be able to forecheck or maintain the puck along the walls. RNH and Skinner are just so butter soft that Draisaitl will have to do everything here. He’s certainly capable of carrying anyone but it’s a lot to ask.

Islands in the stream.
This is the annual Oilers game when everybody expect them to shit the bed, especially Skinner, the D, PK and PP and the exact opposite will happen.
I am very confident in this one...more afraid of the next games after.
This is the universe we live in. In the darkest moments there comes light.

I was going to say Stew Skunker back in net but I'm seeing the light.

Oilers back on TV tonight so maybe they play like it.

Remember folks what happens in Montreal stays in Montreal. Its like Canadian Vegas DT.

Thought Henrique looked solid last year in limited minutes next to McDavid. I imagine a lot of people look more solid next to McDavid.
Fished the puck from the corner more than RNH.

Would be nice to see our players play good, hard hockey, rather than our skilled 'pass it around the perimeter until we screw up the pass' play. Just look at Montreal's first goal - they randomly fired it at the net and got a lucky tip. Go figure.

I love the one-timer goals and setting up the perfect tic-tac-toe passing plays but right now they are not working - fire the damn puck!
They lead the NHL in shots...

Roses are Red
I am Blue
Arvid is injured
It was due

But don't be sad
Its another day
Sens can be had
If Drai has say

Don't go to Ottawa
Unless you like Migraines
Nothing rhymes with Ottawa
Leave Capital with a Win

Wish he played tonight. I have no other reason to watch the same old stuff. I am at the point that a 3rd/4th liner might get me excited because not much else has lol

We're shooting the puck a lot. Unfortunately a lot of players that hardly ever score are doing a lot of the shooting. Even at that teams are really into shot blocking against us. They really want to take away the Booch bomb, and they should. Teams be learning how to defend us better. Montreal are a team that at least believes in playing a 200ft game and trying to learn it. They had all in, it happens. In 96 the oilers weren't very good but the effort was always there. Habs are like that.

I'm wearing my lucky shirt today, I bought right before they went on the 16 win streak last year. Haven't worn it all this season, now is the time.
