Enjoy.

Got to see Bruce last spring here in PHX. His on stage “crew” numbered 18 musicians! It was a good show. The saxophonist is Clarence Clemons’ nephew, but you’d swear it’s the big guy himself out there. Little Stevie is showing his age, appeared tired at our show. In true Bruce fashion though, it was a 2-1/2 hour show.

I'm reading Springsteen's autobiography right now. Avoided it for a while (I thought Bruce's Broadway musical thing was a definite sign that he had lost his mind), but so far it's a really good read.

Okay, so after the disaster in Montreal, what can we confidently say about the Oilers @ Sens' game tomorrow?:
-- Ullmark, who has an .890 on the season, will suddenly look like Plante-meets-Hasek and post at least a .950
-- Stu Skinner will play half a great game, but will inevitably let in one (or two) very soft, stoppable goals, ending with a sub.-900
-- The Oilers will need to score at least 4 -- probably 5 -- goals. Per their season shooting average, that will require about 80 shots on goal.

Conclusion: The Oilers will win if they get 80+ shots on goal.

So both goalie play to the best version of themselves?

Would love to see them shake up the powerplay and demote either RNH or Hyman at evens.

What I see them doing- going McDrai with Hyman then RNH as the 2C.
While I dont disagree with you, it’s 2 games back to back on the road and a small amount of travel last night.

Zero time to practice new looks.

Coach has a predilection to stay status quo.

I suspect the only modification we see is the McDrai line being resurrected and played right from the start of the game - break glass in case of emergency.

Dont agree with that approach but it’s what I expect.

This is the annual Oilers game when everybody expect them to shit the bed, especially Skinner, the D, PK and PP and the exact opposite will happen.
I am very confident in this one...more afraid of the next games after.

Generally its not the named goalies the Oilers have problems with.

Feels like Oilers generally have their way with the Sens. Its like Nashville lite for them.

But who knows with this team. They have all kinds of problems and I think frustration has set in.

They'll win this game handily because that's just how this team is - their world has to be collapsing around them before they decide to try. We're in a wild card spot right now as it is lol

Can't take this team for granted. Sens are much better than the habs and (IMO) better than the leafs as well. They just haven't put it together yet. But they play hard and aren't that far off.

Drai seems to get up for games against Stutzle, so let's hope he leads the way and makes Ullmark look like the sub par goaltender that he actually is.

Agree with this. This lineup needs a big shakeup. If Arvidsson can play I’d try something like

Henrique - McDavid - Arvidsson
Skinner - Draisaitl - Hyman
Janmark - Nugent-Hopkins - Perry
Podkolzin - Ryan - Brown

And Skinner needs to be in Nuge’s spot on the PP. Perry or Arvidsson (if healthy) can take Hyman’s spot. I’d be surprised if they switch up the PP on a back to back though because they won’t have time to practice.

Would be nice to see our players play good, hard hockey, rather than our skilled 'pass it around the perimeter until we screw up the pass' play. Just look at Montreal's first goal - they randomly fired it at the net and got a lucky tip. Go figure.

I love the one-timer goals and setting up the perfect tic-tac-toe passing plays but right now they are not working - fire the damn puck!
