That is one awful PP... thank you Pastrnak!

If they call this back. Anderson had no chance and he wasn't even trying to move.

Anderson has no idea where the puck even is until pasta is already throwing it on him.

Whoever it was on the Ottawa bench that suggested that challenge should be ashamed. Not even close.

Two horrible calls on reputation players.
These refs are horrible but I'll take it.

Apart from Pastrnak being Pastrnak, the PP needs to change. There were too many passes D to D at the blue line, and they were standing still for so long. Of course you can't make a pass or open up a seem if everyone is standing still. That was brutal to watch.

Give me some Rinaldo over Jimmy Hayes !

Jimmy gets one tonight. Book it.

...but yeah, anybody but Jimmy.

Glad I could get a post in between the endless pop ups with
Microscopic x-outs.

Anyway...no offside challenge left for Ottawa!!! Woo hoo. Gotta have that against Boston.

The way Boston uses the points on both PP units makes absolutely no sense. None whatsoever.

And it's time to start letting the Marchand-Pasta unit start the PPs. It's been far and away the better unit production wise.

But hey what do I know, I'm no Joe Sacco.

I wanna start a campaign of getting Anton Blidh on this team and waive Hayes. It needs to happen.

There is no way Blidh would hurt the team that much...he can play conservative and responsible, start him on 4th line with a vet like Moore.

Give him 10 minutes a night and see what happens, there is no way he can be worse than Hayes and he will bring more.

The team could use a spark plug, he is quick, hits everything, plays on edge, a great pest...and I actually think he has a sneaky shot.

Blidh is 21, give him 5 games and see how he does. We wanna develop good depth guys within the system and I think he can become a valuable energy 4th liner, would injects some real forechecking pressure.

I can't think of a reason Blidh shouldnt get a shot in over Jimmy. I can't believe we are doing this again this year..like it seems it takes management way too long to make obvious changes...just like Kemp last year.

I don't understand it.

SO...Blidh IN Hayes OUT

people here will love Blidh's game...hits, pest, energy guy..can actually play hockey, kill penalties and who knows if the offensive side develops.

Absolutely. I'm also dumbfounded as to how different it looks from last season when you have the same PP coach and for the most part, the same personnel. The lack of skating compared to last season is astonishing.
