I watched the first period. Very quickly. Then skipped ahead five minutes at a time without stopping until the game finished.

This team is hilariously bad. I think back to all of the times I went to games in the early 2000’s, and how terrible that team was. This version is every bit as shameful. The only difference is back then the balcony was very close to empty.

They continue this bullshit and i think they’ll find out just how quickly the building runs it back to the Dave Lewis era crowds

Jeremy Swayman this season:
  • Overall = 5-7-2 ; 3.47 GAA ; .884 Sv%
  • Last Five = 1-3-1 ; 4.01 GAA ; .866 Sv%
  • Away = 1-4-1 ; 4.16 GAA ; .873 Sv%
Just terrible.

* Korpisalo last Five = 2-1-1 ; 1.96 GAA ; .926 Sv%

As a fan, honestly, what is there to like with this team?

1. Management
2. Coaching
3. Leadership
4. Forward Top Six
5. Forward Bottom Six
6. Defense
7. Goaltending
8. Effort
9. Entertainment Value
10. Future
11. Prospects
12. Powerplay
13. Penalty Kill

I have nothing. Zero. Even the bottom six forwards have dried up.
It’s just a bad team with horrible management. Gonna be a long season. Don’t know why Swayman became garbage after signing his deal

Marchand was asked what the Bruins biggest issue is. This was his reply...

"It starts with our compete level. I think it always starts with your compete level. In this league, you have to have the highest ‘compete’ every night if you want to be a good team. We have it throughout periods of a game, we have it at times, and when we do we’re good… We have to understand what our identity is and play to that, and we’re yet to do that for a full 60 minute game."
He’s not wrong, but after TWENTY GAMES of this…what more does it take?

Switching lines constantly too though.Thats a kick in nads as a player.Regardless we all knew this team would struggle to score.

Don’t forget the 2015 draft
He will never outlive that. The 2019 Cup loss to Blues would have took the sting out of it though if they won.

I don't know. Monty said something similar in response to a question.

"My conversations with the players are solution based. How do we fix it? How do we get a more consistent compete level in all three zones... and better special teams."

Just seems like more of the same. Same message, same process, same results.
