I have never seen a team quit in games over and over. Tkachuk needs the captaincy stripped. Trade him. Not a winner. Thinks he's Matthew Tkachuk but he just f***ing sucks. The rest of them need to go too.

Stutzle and Sanderson are the only things we can salvage from this joke roster of quitters.

Shameless.

When a few years go by and this city gets distance, I think we’ll collectively look at Brady Tkachuk as being a captain as useless as Alexie Yashin.

We’re quickly heading toward a Karlsson like divorce, except at least people have good memories of EK.

Worst part is we know they can play better than this, but they are so mentally weak that a few bad losses got them completely shook and sapped the confidence right out of them.

Yashin did make the playoffs.

Our Novembers are clearly the exact same story as the Leafs and the 1st round. Clearly it's a mental thing with this group of players. They're scared to lose and they let losses get to them, and they lose their confidence too quickly.

It’s like 30% Vancouver fans, and they are louder than the other 70%. Out barn has the worst atmosphere I’ve ever seen for a pro sports team. The home opener and early games were firey, but we’re back to tame Ottawa.

P1 sucked, WTF is wrong with this team. Worse execution of a 5 min PP I’ve seen. And we were still behind on the shot clock afterwards.

And then of course they score.

Are we going to take advantage of Hughes getting ejected? LOL.

Feels like Deja vu. Every F*ing Nov/Dec.

Maybe they’ll come back and I’ll change my tune, but…

I dunno, I think Yashin was a better player who never should have been made captain. Brady has the better character but he's had the losing mentality hammered into him by a terrible coach and GM and I don't know that he can be the leader we need him to be here. It could happen somewhere else though, which is sad for us.

I don’t think he’s a leader. He could do well on a team where he could just be a guy.

Why are they scared to lose? They’ve done nothing but lose for 7 years now.

Are fish scared of water?
It’s the baggage. They want to win, they feel the pressure and it makes them crumble.

To a normal team they lose a couple games, they just get right back to it. For Ottawa it’s “here we go again” and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I agree with this. I'm with that guy a few days ago who said Brady thinks he's Matthew but he's not. Brady is the 5th or 6th option on a winner. We need him to be a 2nd or 3rd option behind Stutzle and it's just not happening.

we should be putting the 4th line out there on our next pp.
Actually not a bad idea to give more ice time to some of the guys who haven't been here for the history of the bad Novembers. Get guys like Perron, Amadio, Gaudette out there and lean on them a little bit.
