Yes... a 4th lines main job is to not hurt the team... that also means dont be overpaid

Once the first job is accomplished you hope to get some energy... you hope they can help your special teams... and if they score thats a pure bonus

If other teams had a 4th line that was better we might be more concerned but our guys hold their own and do their job

Sorry everyone that wants 12 david pastrnaks in the lineup but we dont have that much cap room.

And no... no team will ever skate 3 elc kids on a 4th line because that line would be so weak defensively that the opposite coach would linechange and kill you

You need vets that can clog the zone on your 4th line... and ones being paid the right caphit
