He’s been good since his arrival. Nothing flashy but does the right play most times.

Isn’t afraid to use his body (not just hit, but strength to take a player out of the play) and seems to read pretty well what’s the threat on the ice.

Surprised Mailloux wasn’t on that power play. With so many occasions to shoot the puck, he would have been perfect to force players up and open space.

Roy has been good. He certainly is getting the chance to shine and he has taken it.

Armia seems in good spirit. He’s the best forward out there, and is smiling on the bench with the guys. He should definitely be in the NHL ahead of some guys, he’ll be back in no time.

I wonder if they give him only games in Laval, like that they get other plays in away games to continue their evaluation.

Mailloux has faired better than expected in those two first games, he clearly has enough awareness to work on his shortcomings.

No harm in playing 30-40 games in the AHL. It’s no because they’re ready that they’re wasting their time

Most players from both teams won't make the NHL. This league is effective because of the AHL vets each team has on their rosters. There might be 5-6 players on the Laval roster that might play in the NHL one day.
