Happy with the Slovak team even with a 1-2 loss. Could have gone both ways if some chances were converted. We skated well for 2 periods, got gassed in the 3rd where USA was clearly better and comfortable. Happy with being competitive nonetheless, let see if we can steal a point of some other big dogs.

Barratt looks like he can snipe... Not the same pedigree as Wahlstrom .. but He works, he tries to create chances and he likes to shoot it. Wouldn't be surprised to see him out produce Wahlstrom here

Agree with this, as a Rangers fan I notice you a lot and you’re a tolerable Isles fan, although I agree with him that Wahlstrom hasn’t been good, the constant Wahlstrom bashing is annoying by a vocal minority of the Rangers fan base

It’s one game and the team overall wasn’t great the 1sr 2 periods. They played better as the game went on. We can sit here and nitpick a bunch but overall most of the guys weren’t bad.

Hey Bokros, wouldn’t it be nice to have a skilled sniper on the power play. I don’t know, maybe a guy who could be first round pick. No, you want depth dman who contribute nothing but dump and chase? Ok.

So you want guys to score goals every period? If they don’t that means they had a bad game? He got some nice shots off and made some really good passes. He set Hughes up right in front of the net and Hughes missed it.

Man, what was that finish from the Slovaks? No hustle and lazy passes all over the place.
Solid 3rd period to get the win and 3 points. I think they should spread split Poeling and Norris to have 3 solid scoring lines and a speedy checking 4th line. Move Sasha up, 4th line of Cockerill/Cates/Drury/O'Brien.
Don't like either of the right shots they brought on defense, not sure how they left Keane out (and how do they not even at least invite Wilde?).

Wahlstrom is here to score goals and I guess if he doesn’t get that done it’s going to be noticeable. He had some decent chances and created some
Chances. His line is the “kid” line and should get better.
My point is that even big time goal scorers don’t score every game. He didn’t do anything to jump off the screen in a good way or a bad way.
