@GMofOilers Now show it after crossing off the goalies who played in the 80's when the league average save percentage hovered around .885 not to mention that half of those goalies were routinely lit up by the 80's Oilers for 6-8 goals a game come playoff time.

If that is not evidence enough that the Oilers have done what they have done in spite of Smilin' Stu and not because of Smilin' Stu, then your doing your stats wrong.
Skinner is not an NHL starting goalie for a cup contending team, full stop. He was supposed to be a back up to Campbell but rode an incredible hot streak after Campbell's demotion and a couple hot streaks per season since to fool our goalie handicapped management team into believing he is a starter but he is up and down like a toilet seat and his playoff stats prove he is not a good playoff goalie. That is not cup contending caliber.
