They really need to stop trying to find that pass to pass on the powerplay. Just shoot the damnthing! ASRDKLGHDFH

Totally agree. Don't understand why they are always seeking that extra (or perfect) pass...they are too damn unselfish!

Richards has looked really bad these first two games, He must be shaking off a lot of rust.

He looks slow too.

Our PP is so stationary, they look for the open seam while standing still, powerplays aren't supposed to have form, you skate around expose the missing player and the seam opens when you skate around man. I love nolan, plays like a champ.

In the last few years the Kings powerplay has been like this, nothing new. Its almost as if Phil Jackson has installed the triangle offense on the Kings' powerplay. But it seems this is becoming more and more of a trend for all NHL teams' powerplays.

PP takes time to develop timing. will continue to improve with games. right now it's looking like much of last season - static and ineffective.

not a fan of 10 & 11 out there together. Kopi wants to work that half board and Richards wants to work the same low corner/post. that leaves Carter to the slot area, where he isn't effective. he needs separation to really be effective. he's not a camp the crease and clean up the garbage type scorer. this PP unit makes it easy to collapse coverage for the PK and choke any seam or back door passes. LA's PP essentially turns into a half zone, one shot attack and then cleared

would rather see 11, 23 and 14 working the front. better overall movement, cycling capability with those three out there. they don't remain so static in position.

not sure which line has been the most ineffective - the #2 or #3. Richie had two close chances that dribbled away from him and that's all his line has seen.

The second PP is very stationary. Stoll and AMart particularly slow things down waiting for guys to get open. It just allows teams with active sticks to clog the lanes. Each PP tonight that has been the cause of clearing the puck.
