I disagree. I think it was the right call. The spirit of the rule is to prevent incidents near the crease where a skate-blade could get kicked up into someone. So they generally draw the line at whether the blade comes off the ice or not.

I felt it was more of a redirection of the puck with the skate repositioning and not a kicking motion especially when the body is being dragged down. The old way of the call it would have been called back. I'm sure we could find examples where that goal counts.
