Really wish he paced himself instead of blowing his load in the first 20 games. Guy has been running on empty for weeks now. I held out a sliver of hope that the playoffs would be different but nope.

When does the coach make an adjustment then? Gallagher has been real good, throw him on the 1st line, and while you're at it put Galchenyuk there too....and put Shaw back at wing for crying out loud, he's so much more effective there.

With McDavid contract looming would they even want him? I suppose if they feel he'd put them over the top. Then we'd likely get Talbot back but at best he'd come with a 1st rounder and a guy like Pulkkinen and/or a D-man like Nurse. That's best case scenario. EDM would never give us Draisaitl in that deal
