This is a good study in the differences between the two teams.
The Jackets are actually doing a much better job this game relative to last at cycling on the walls and winning puck battles. It wouldn't surprise me if they have a zone time advantage at 5 on 5. The problem is the Sharks are so good defensively at covering people. The Jackets can't get the puck to a shooter with a lane (though I'll say the 4th line has gotten to the net mouth almost every shift).
The Jackets in the d zone obviously are no comparison to the Sharks in their d zone. Some of these guys don't seem to know what their position should be. Perhaps it's just new systems - to be honest I don't know who to blame between Prout and Jenner on the first goal. I don't know where they're supposed to be and they don't either. The second goal it looked like JJ had Ward boxed out - not much you can do about that one if he still manages to score.

I noticed that - but "Sharks having the puck" shouldn't be a problem.
"Sharks having the puck wide open in front of the net with no Jackets around" is another story.

Torts isn't going to stick with this system if they don't improve coverage. They'll scrap the new system and go back to turtle D. It looks like some guys like Savard just can't play this way.
