Fortunately my wife didn't schedule another birthday dinner for me tonight like she did on Saturday, so I won't have to fail at trying to avoid spoilers for the game. By the way, f*** you google and your latest update for those notifications.

Amateur.

Gotta schedule an appointment yourself on your own birthday. Enough to successfully avoid any celebration, but not so much that you miss the game.

It was open for the preseason game I went to but because of them setting up for the State Fair I don't think it was open Saturday.

That being the case, IMO the plan is drive down Trinity Rd and scope out the Fairgrounds lot (which it wouldn't be a shock if it remained closed till the fair leaves) and then proceed up to Cardinal Gibbons/office park as a backup plan.

The insane part is that we originally planned to go to the game for my birthday. Once I bailed on that, the debate became Friday night or Saturday night to do something, in all likelihood a cookout at my house. I told my wife to do Saturday (since that would be easier to handle guests) and 3 days prior she tells me excitedly "We have plans! Cowfish on Saturday night!" Didn't have the heart (or balls) to push back. Thus concludes my oversharing for the day.

More importantly, did anyone track Tripp timeout after icing comments? I heard one late in the 3rd/OT when I finally woke up while watching the recording. Gotta figure there were 3 or 4 earlier in the game.

The good news is: Cowfish is freaking delicious. We've got one in Atlanta too :)

I noted that one in the past GDT but I shockingly didn’t hear any others. I think the counter stands at 1 right now

The way he went in to that wall was REALLY damn strange. What's weird to me is that he apparently passed concussion protocols during the game and was able to go back out. Makes me think this is something else, maybe neck or shoulder stiffness, who knows.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I'd be frightened as a dman just traded to us starting opening night.
