I know this is crazy since we have 2 PP goals but our PP lately has crept back into what it was last year. No movement, slow deliberate passes, staying on Perimeter. That failed 2min 5 on 3 it was really evident.

No movement? There’s tons of movement. They just were looking for the “perfect” shot. They’ve been moving all over. It’s just a matter of shooting a bit more instead of waiting so much.

Isn’t that generally the norm when 5-on-3 though? I always thought the movement was mostly about getting the opposing players to move and open up passes. But when on the two man advantage, those three players just sit in the slot in front of the goalie.
