Stinks this game is going to end in a shootout. Loved the compete from the guys tonight. If it wasn't official already, Blackwood should have cemented his starter status tonight. Thought the kids looked great, even though it didn't show up on the scoreboard much yet. Feels like Mack in particular is on the verge of breaking out with a big performance on Monday!


My only real gripe from this game is whatever the hell was going on with guys entering the zone cleanly and having zero support options to pass to once they got in. Gotta clean that up. But all in all, a really entertaining game. I could do a whole season like this.

I wore my sharks jersey to the Giants game vs Portland. Clearly that was good luck because when I turned off the game to get changed it was still 3-1.

I'll also say it helped that the rink music guy played Return of the Mack.

Great effort. This team is definitely much more competitive. 1-2-1 would have been acceptable after going down 0-3. Credit them for deciding they had more to give.

Blackwood was excellent, the kids looked good, Lund line looked good, good to have Walman back, and Tofolli line performed well. Team definitely needs one more top 6 forward, but they look like they almost have four competent lines.

Definitely game for Rutta to come out for Thompson.

Thank god we put out Wennberg for the faceoffs in OT.
I mean, he still lost them anyway - but could you imagine if the Sharks lost the faceoff and had Celebrini, Smith, etc. on the ice?!
