I want to point out that Petry and Chiarot have not been liabilities so far. It's only been half a period, but that's their longest streak so far this season.

Keep expectations low but he also said the kid could come to NA next year. I doubt anything is set in stone and a lot will change. I think it's good they are talking of him coming over next year.

This is true but I would like to add that if Compher plays the body rather than chopping at the puck on the wall 10 isn't able to pressure 56 inf the first place.

Then Compher could have at least tried to block the shot from the point. Maybe I am just still pissed at Compher for that lazy play the other night, but he is definitely on double secret probation in my book.

I said this in another thread, but my hope is both him and MBN come over for the Griffins playoff run. Get an early start in NA and maybe ASP does enough to make it right out of camp next year. He's almost a PPG as a 19 year old defenseman in the SHL. He's rocking it.

Compher should have taken the body, Albert should have tied up someone, anyone, at some point, Gus needed to not suck...so much just went to hell on that play. Really wish they'd just bench Gus and go with Albert-Holl.

Pretty uninspired play by Compher for sure. Also, Gus was tripped. 53 sticks his foot out. That was a bad no call.
