Suggesting him to be pulled to try to salvage a win is overreacting? Why continue to play a goalie after he looks very off.

Schedule have you looked it ?

17 games in one month, you have to play both Goalies full games.

That's why you are not an NHL coach , and Sutter is.

If you have to put Johnny B, you do it as late as possible or not at all.

Not in the first or second period.

Everyone read. And then read again.

Did we not learn anything after last year?

The only real negative is that it isn't the guys in danger of getting removed for the next game playing poorly tonight. It's Voynov, DD, and Scuderi. Hopefully Martinez back will help out with that.

If Sutter plans to play Bernier on Monday, this will have been the only action Quick's had in nearly a whole week before his game on Tuesday. Leave him in there and take the loss (we are not scoring 4 goals). That way he will have it to remember for the next time.

I understand but this win is important, it gets us into a more comfortable Position.

Let's just hope he's better. It bend or break time. Hopefully he will be sharp this period.

Quick earned the right to have bad games once in awhile.

He carried the team, night in and night out last year.

He has played well over the last few games.

Not a big deal too me.

Keeping Bernier fresh for Monday is also important. Sometimes you have to know when you're going to lose. When all of our d-men are giving up two on ones, losing track of Van's high forward...we're going to lose. There's nothing that can be done to change that now.

I understand that Quick hasn't been great but the defending on goals 1, 3, and 4 was disastrous and you could see them coming from a mile away.

so do we trade bernier for defensive help or keep him in case quick is not quick.

Bingo....

Sometimes your Goalie is only as good as your Defense.

Can't play the hero every night.

What Quick did last year...We probably won't see again for decades.

Yep, plus it's rare he has these type of outings. Look at how Price looked tonight, or how less than stellar Rinne and Lundqvist have been this season. Happens to the best of 'em.

Henrik Lundqvist is struggling big time. But I bet we all know why....

Defense is really banged up in NY, I bet that has something to do with it.

I can't believe Carter and Richards are -3. They really don't deserve it.
