Yep, nice rebound game.

Lots of jump in their game....loved the way Saad played.
And REALLY loved the way CBJ capitalized on the Lightning turnovers.

It was like 5 minute PP there at the end, but they held on.

Hope they keep up the effort vs the Panthers tomorrow night. Gotta miss the game on account of work Xmas party.

JJ - Savard were out there for about 4 of the last 5 minutes (so was Foligno I think), all hemmed in. With the lungs on those guys, and with their strength, there really wasn't much to worry about. We're a lucky team to have a second pair that can play that many minutes if need be.

Wennberg out here doing the lords work. Huge bounce back, get a point tomorrow against Florida and that reaches the 6 out of 10 point goal out of this 5 games in 7 days.

I thought they played those last 5 well, too. I was not particularly stressed. The 2 goal lead is probably the main reason why, but still, they weren't trying to do much except keep the puck out of the net. No real scrambling for EN glory.

I was very wrong about tonight's game (thankfully). Great effort. Going to be tough playing a rested Florida team tomorrow night, but maybe Bob or McBackup can steal one.

I continue to be amazed at fans who just do not see that this team is genuinely different than any prior Jackets team. Some fans get down on the the players so quickly.

The play is different, for sure.

I'd like to think you should always score an empty netter when the opposing team pulls their goalie with 3 minutes left....

but with the defensive strategy we have as a team, and then the talent Tampa has on offense.. I was fine with no goal.

Definitely has to be C-Mac.... don't want to take a chance playing Bob back-to-back nights.
And C-Mac has played well the games he's started. I'm comfortable with him.

Finally got to see the new, improved Jackets in action. Last few viewings have been ho hum affairs including the two losses. Great game by lots of Jackets. Looking forward to tonight's game and a victory after the Bucks dispose Michigan.

And having recently moved into the area I think I'm going to adopt the Bolts as my backup team. I love the way the play. The skill level is high even considering they are missing Stamkos.

Bad news is Bishop, my alleged #1 fantasy goalie, continues to suck.

plus I think Bob was a little shaken up when TB scored their last goal....no need to risk anything this early in the year.

Hey HF, been a while.

I'm now living in Tampa (still watch every CBJ game) and was next to the Lightning bench last night. They were completely gassed the last 10 minutes of the game while our guys kept churning. What a difference from past years.

Heard in the concourse afterwards, "That team used to be terrible."

Nothing like watching live hockey close to the ice. The speed is amazing.

Best to you all, especially you HF old-timers.

This could be a pivotal game for the Jackets mentally. They could have folded and didn't.

I like what I'm seeing from this team.

It amazed me how many people in Tampa still love Coach Torts
