I find it very, very, very hard to blame the coach of an NHL team for players who look like they don't give a single shit. Where is the professionalism? The personal pride? The shame? They need another grown man to convince them to play hard? f*** that noise.
Agreed. If the players can’t get up for these games then it’s time to move on from those players. Starting with the highest paid.

Gallant would also be gone in 18-24 months after everybody turns on him because he's somehow beyond Torts in the "is an asshole" category.

Guy's been canned from 3 different jobs in the span of like 7 years. Not a good look.
They all get fired sooner or later .Gallant took a lesser team further then Monty took stacked team though.

Why don’t they give a f***?

Why don’t they compete?

Listen, I’m not saying the coach is the reason just going through the motions, but he’s absolutely a factor.

The moment he said “we didn’t have the right game plan” for a team that was like 2-7 going into that game. Pulling goalies with 6 minutes left to give your team absolutely no shot to come back. Jumbling lines like a maniac.

Hes gotta go. He should have went after he started an injured goalie two years ago in the playoffs.

Hes definitely not a long term option but he knows how to help a team find their balls and give them something to play for. He's a rehab clinic wrapped up in a coach.

One thing a coach can do with this current Bruins team is instil a will to compete. He hasn’t.

Monty can f*** off yesterday.
These are grown men and professionals. Why do they need someone yelling at them to compete? If they are that mentally weak they should be waived.

A professional athlete should compete hard no matter who the coach is. I'm not absolving Montgomery of any responsibility, I'm just saying this goes beyond a coach. The players have a lot to answer for.
