I'm expecting them to come out on fire. Hoping it's not a backfire
Or a tire! :)

Go Jerts!

Heading out on another cruise. Watching games can be hit or miss - hoping I can catch this one tonight. Really want to see how the guys respond to the loss.

This is the teams first challenge, I think we've seen the team play fall back a bit recently - they really need to address the heavy D pressure that some of these faster more aggressive teams employ.

I still think the answer is to have a fast F be the puck retriever on dumps. That will allow the D to stay up on the blueline to prevent clean rush entries without getting into these races on dumps.

Additionally I want to see some better close support in the corners and in puck battles. We're getting a bit spread out again on breakouts.
Mostly what I got out of this was….. ANOTHER CRUISE????

People watched it?

wondering if: Salomonsson > Heinola?

Speaking of AHL guys, our fowards their have been brutal, Lambert 1 goal in 13 games and some wanted him on the Jets!
Well many attempted to watch it but apparently Netflix is streaming using dial up modems. Kept crashing and buffering. Plus the whole presentation was crap, crap panelists, crap AV equipment, crap promos for Netflix shows.

I think this is a good measuring stick game for the Jets. For the first time all year I think they are overmatched at C, Barkov>Scheif, Bennett>Namestnikov, Lundell>Lowry, so they may need to win those 4th line matchups, and be better on defense. And get their wingers pushing a medicore Florida defense back.

This is the first bad ice road trip for the Jets, who got into a groove playing on home ice. Helle stole the show against Shesterkin, I think he'll be up for this game against the next best goalie in the East.

Don't forget to get your guesses into the Prediction Contest (the other thread) before the puck drops...

All you need to do is pick the winning team, the final score, and the player you think will score the first goal of the game...

Really? Tougher than Wild or Rangers? I don't think so.

The big p***yes have already lost five or six games this year. I'm predicting we claw their eyes out.

EDIT: Interesting. This post was censored until I feminized it.

EDIT AGAIN: Then I got told not to circumvent the filter by feminizing. Strange since the same word appears in a video in post #10 with seemingly no concerns.
Would you like to speak to the manager? :sarcasm:

Maybe it's the adjective that pushed it to the limits.

Some people might be intimidated/offended by "big" p***yes. Especially when they have their claws out.

Never saw the cartoon show but it was a cool movie filmed pretty close to where we lived. I wasn't allowed anywhere near the set (being about 5 I think) but when we watched it about age 12 or so it was still mostly current and definitely cool. I'd hate to see how cringe it probably looks now.

The way AI is going these days, software reading a word off a banned list without context is the least of our troubles.

And don't get me started on kids using AI to plagiarize an essay.
I could see that. The times they are a changing. I once wrote an essay on Chinese migrants building the railway in B.C that got a scholarship application to the History department at the U of M. Only problem was that it wasn't mine. I only got $20 bucks for it. I helped a few people along in university with their assignments too. Now computers can do my work.

We can't be intimidated by the Panthers, even identified by a common slang. Funny thought that the team most associated with a big cat has a centre called Barkov.

I'm going to have to miss this one for a movie date but I hope we don't repeat the effort we did in Tampa. Actually, the effort wasn't bad but the execution was terrible. Tonight we have to put the pass on the stick and avoid fanning on a great opportunity. Go Jets!

The penultimate wordsmith. Or perhaps just a hired pun.
