Yeah, the amount of garbage people throw at Luongo is sickening. Why can't we just use common sense and say that our goalie is being hung out to dry (like our goalies...both of them...tend to be more often than not), the officiating appears to be a bit lopsided, and we need to respond offensively and match the intensity on the PP.

Luongo hasn't been good today.
Having said that, why must we always find a singular person or thing to hang blame on? It's been a fire drill in the defensive zone, Luongo hasn't been sharp, our special teams has been bad, and the officiating has been horrible.
Add that up, and we need a big third period.

leftwinglockdown said:Luongo went down because he expected the shot to go through the pile of bodies but it hit Garrison's skate in front and bounced right to Brunner in the slot. The problem wasn't him going down, the problem is him not getting back up and getting over to Brunner. He chose the easier save selection and stuck his glove out instead. He probably expected Brunner to shoot right away but being the smart goal-scorer he is, Brunner held on a bit and roofed it.
on both sides?
Did Kassian say something to a ref for that penalty?
Shots in the 2nd period: 12-3 Detroit.
Players to blame: Roberto Luongo; Cam Barker
