He has both skates in the zone and the puck is outside the line.

The offside rule doesnt make sense anymore.

And I say that as someone who doesn’t give a shit because the Wings deserve to lose and Lalonde should be fired.

A player with full possession of the puck can enter before the puck. It allows players to skate backwards into the zone. The rule has been that way for decades.

Nah, give them Boudreau. Let him ripen their offensive skills. We expect/want more offense from literally every young player on this team, including the young defensemen, why not give them a guy known for being open-minded about offensive freedom?

Anything is better than what we are seeing now. I’d be open to just about anything. Newsy needs to go back to worrying about minions and leave coaching hockey to a real coach
