With all due respect, we stopped playing the Lightning for Game 5 and 6.

We didn't show up Game 1 against the Panthers and showed up for the final 5 minutes of Game 6.

I don't care. He can't steal games for us because he keeps the games close and then gives up a back breaker. Also game 1 against the Panthers was completely overrated. They barely had any chances themselves and we had the better of the chances.

If Schneider buried that breakaway that he hit the post on, game 1 could've been different.

If one of our guys muscled a player like that to the net, and roofed a shot perfectly far side while being draped on by another player, this board would go f***ing nuts. Turns out we have no one that can snipe like that in close. If that's us, it's a great play and a great shot. Against us, it's somehow a muffin that should've been stopped regardless of if our defense gets walked for 49 shots while we make half that with the majority of them being ACTUAL muffins from the point that we get lucky on deflections and rebounds with.

When the team moves on from these veteran mercenaries and empowers the young homegrown studs who give a shit about being Rangers, maybe we’ll get that elusive 60 minute effort. Trouba, Lindgren, Kreider, can all gtfo. Mika is only save because he’s got us bent over a barrel.

Play Kakko at C as much as possible

Not sure you can really classify Kreider and Lindgren as 'mercenary'

Why didn’t the entitled group that was out there for the goalie pull change when it was clear they were all gassed and couldn’t move and the puck was dumped back to our end with like a minute left? Half of them could’ve changed at least, instead they all stay out there and have no energy to do anything and just chase or stand around. More accurately everyone just stood around and watched Laf and Fox chase everyone around.

Panarin is either sick or injured. He has no pop and is super sloppy. Kreider look incredibly lazy out there. Everyone is trying to be too fancy at all times forcing plays that aren’t there. PP2 was better than PP1. There’s a reason the bottom six has been more effective all season than the top 6, they play straight line simple hockey.

Trocheck looks bad too. Mika is basically back to okay but Trocheck is the weak link on that line right now.

That hand pass goal counting and then an almost identical play being called a hand pass in the third period in real time, as plays like that are 99% of the time, just highlights how insanely bad that good goal call was. That was a fine challenge by Laviolette despite the chorus in here blaming him. That was a play that is called a hand pass 99% of the time.
It’s mind boggling because it happens every time they pull the goalie with 2+ minutes remaining. The top unit just goes out there and empties the tank only for the remaining minute to just be a complete waste of time as they scramble to protect the empty net. And WTF has shit Mika done to earn that ice time at the end there? Laviolette is such a joke, I’d throw hands on sight with that loser
