And then Greig given real responsibilities at center?! No way. The guy belongs in the AHL. Not centering an NHL line

He was much more comfortable at C than he was at wing. But if he can’t hack, go find our own David Kampf or some mediocre center to play on the 3rd line.

Greig is also not enough to get Quinn. Him and Pinto are much closer in value.

Moving the goal post eh? No talent on the backend to but their paid too much. Keep flipping that hair
Yes. They get paid too much to offer such little offence. That’s it.

Oh sorry I forgot you like to get nitpicky.

When I said “there’s no offensive talent back there” I didn’t mean like legit no offense like they can’t even connect a pass and can’t carry out even the most basic of offensive movements and plays lol.

They can do those things.

Norris and Brady score plenty.

The problem is no one else on the team besides those 4 can score goals except our 4th line C.

Brady scores when he's on Stutzles wing, but who doesn't?

Norris can't use his best weapon.

We have one real 1st line player and a bunch of tertiary 1st liners.

Its not nitpicky, it's calling out nonsense, blatantly false crap.

No, but he's not here to be a skill guy in the top 6. He's supposed to be a shit disturber and get the opponent off their game. Kid has been invisible out there lately.
No I’m sorry he has to do more than that. He’s a first round pick.

Yes if you take my statement “no offensive talent” literally then yeah I can see why you’d be in a twist about the claim. But use your head and realize I’m not saying they literally can’t carry out basic offensive functions on the ice.

There…limited offensive talent back there. And when you take their price into consideration and how much of the cap they take up.. it’s simply mediocre. Which wouldn’t be an issue if our forwards were good. They’re not

Brady has been scoring every year he’s been in the league and is consistently on our most productive line every year.

2021-2022: Tkachuk- Norris- Batherson
2022 - 2023: Tkachuk - Stützle - Giroux
2023-2024: Tkachuk - Greig - Giroux and then Tkachuk - Pinto - Batherson

Him and Norris have been producing every game since they got put together except vs Carolina where no one scored. There is zero evidence that Brady only produces on Stutzle’s wing.

I'm saying you are wrong about the offensive talent on the backend, because you very clearly are.

im for letting Ullmark find a rhythm.

Must be nice to have time and space to find a rhythm when you cash in before you make an impact. I fully supported the new contract, but now it seems like another bad beat. Right play, wrong result. Another buyout goalie contract as per tradition. Brady the roller coaster of great to garbage and no consistency.

Hello rebuild my good friend, I’ve come to talk with you again.

Since our secondary scoring sucks, I honestly think Green should just stack the top line.

Tkachuk - Stützle - Batherson

Let them run wild. Norris will produce less but no one else is doing anything anyway so it might be worth a shot.

The odds were always stacked against us.

Vegas might be the only winnable one but only if our goaltending works.

Time to put in Forsberg.

I don’t believe in this “he’s your guy” crap. Whoever is playing well plays. Whoever isn’t isn’t.
Win and your in is back baby!

This team doesn’t have enough speed. They play a slow, plodding game that’s built for teams with insane hockey IQ and experience. It’s why Stutzle looks like he’s playing at a different speed than everyone else. He’s a quick guy but he’s not a make everyone look stationary kinda quick.

This is a league that emphasizes skating and speed. Yet we went out and got slower? Amadio, Perron, Cousins, Jensen, Gaudette…to a man, slower than the guys they replaced. Gregor has great speed but he’s a 4th line, 13th forward on a good team. We already had Batherson, Tkachuk, Giroux and Pinto as main fixtures in the lineup who don’t have the get up in the skating department.

Anyway, the Atlantic is kinda ass so far. We’re 4 points out of third but also 1 point out of last. Maybe they’ll turn it around. Who knows?

Okay. Well what’s your benchmark for offensive talent. You just said they’re both on pace for nearly no goals. Chabot might break 40 points. Sanderson… hasn’t broken 40 points yet.

I don’t even mind if they don’t. But our forwards need to be doing more if that’s the case.

You made a dumb post and doubled down on it, I'm not interested in extending this exchange just because an emo gif has you riled up, I can agree they are both currently struggling, beyond that I'm happy to walk away from you trying to save face by shifting the conversation

Ok there, sure, the posts are still there you know.
the shift is me saying. Sorry you’re right. I don’t mean literally no offensive talent. It’s me legit conceding that your first call out was correct and revising my statement

You claim I shifted and also claim I doubled down lol.
I can’t do both.

If anything I shifted to get you out of taking my first comment as some sort of fact.

I shifted to speaking literally and not using hyperbole anymore cuz that always seems to get you a little excited

Does this team have a captain? Is he scared to call out his team because they are his friends?
How often to they show up to optional skates.

As a team i think what they’ve done has been great so I don’t know how angry anyone can be. They can’t yell eachother into finishing chances. And you definitely don’t yell at your goalie lol.

It’s two very very very clear issues with this team right now.

Oilers gave us 3 breakaways and odd man rushes and lost men in coverage. We didn’t score. Other teams make mistakes. I’m a broken record on this but it’s f***ing true. I don’t know if the numbers I looked at take into account tonight’s game but let’s say pre game. We were up to THIRD LEAST High danger chances against in the entire league lol.

Do you believe that? Third least. Not many teams are stingier than we are
