Damn this team is impossible to watch right now. I don't know why we're not dead last in the league. They suck so bad. Something is wrong with this team. Cole he scored 30 goals last year by missing 20 games. Even when we sucked, we could at least say CC is there to put it in the net no matter what. Now it's like an alien captured him and replaced him by Gomez. He cannot score to save his life.

As far as tanking, it's useless cause we all know we are not gonna draft well.
Caufield is too busy these days doing hip commercials and being the habs cool guy on social media

The Bruins are just in a completely different class than us at this juncture, this shouldn't be unexpected.
Yeah but the habs are capable of more than this. Nice goal from Slaf, and some good moments overall but Boston is rested and rolling. I'm predicting the Habs get it close enough that they pull Allen. I would've prefered Monty

I don't see this team making any progress this year.
These assistants are garbage.
Clueless PP and a passive PK.
Not a lot of talent but Marty needs some kind of structure in the D zone.

Team is going downhill

Team was always going to go downhill. Honestly, as we get into December we’ll go for a slide. Entirely predictable and honestly, part of the plan.

Slaf is playing with a bit more confidence, like he's not just trying to survive anymore and he's finally realized that we need him to be good in order to win games
Is he?
You watched him on 4th Boston's goal? Gives a stupid turnover trying to look cool with a blind pass behind his back and then watches Boston dudes skate next to him like he's a pylon.

Boston pressures the puck all over the ice in numbers, positioning is solid, and they support the puck well. Hate giving them any props, but it's polar opposite to how the Habs's look, which is generally a 5 man unit that is spaced too far apart and offers very little support or options to the puck carrier.

Are they capable of more than this? They have two regulation wins. If it wasn’t for the fact we have a sniper that only scores when it isn’t 5v5, we’d be down with the Sharks.

I see the same. It's been a half dozen games or so now, basically since he first got the chance with Suzuki/Caufield.

But he's not quite there yet and that makes sense as a teenager with 56 NHL games of experience.

Klingberg definitely going on LTIR for the season here soon and will take a cruise to the Isle of Robidas giving the Leafs 4.15m in cap relief to add another dman via trade likely with CBJ or the Flames.
