Sidney Crosby used to yap alot earlier in his career. But he learned that was the way to turn the refs against you. Gallagher should have learned long ago.

Yapping is okay. But you must be right. Refs are not dumb they watch the replays after the game and if you yap and the refs were right you get a reputation. Gallagher too often yap when the refs are actually right and made the right call.
